Yes i believe it is the fact there is a setup file missing as the program always starts with the option, is this a new install.
I have to wait for my hip replacement to be given the all clear to start doing normal activities, the end of October.
So loading the dyno and testing the software will have to wait, but i am confident it will work and hope to build the missing .dat file somehow once it has done a run.
I found a section called data snapshot and in options i have the ability to add extra inputs from the daq board, it was showing the voltages of 3 of them,
o2 sensor input, timing input and rpm input.
So i can find them at the back of the board and install my sensor outputs for them as well.
This option usually is for the more modern dynos so this clayton software looks to be ahead of its time being written in 1995, well thats the 2.4.0 version.
I guess it was all designed as a emissions logging and tuning centre.
