Application build takes very long time

This problem is also with Base version with Application Builder.

But very unstable (5 times on the same project OK and 1 time - failure - why - I do not know)

I have presssed on Cancel but not released - successfully continued.

WinXP SP 3, LV Base 8.6.1

PS. If repeat -  without any problems

Sven

I was able to load your project (with only a couple of broken wires which I fixed). I was using LabVIEW 8.6.1 installed from the Platform DVD (which also had FPGA installed). I built the EXE in about seven seconds. I don't have an 8.6 machine setup with the same installed components so I can't compare the two. Were there other settings or conditions with the build specification of code that may have caused this on your side?

I forgot to note that I did need to change a VI link due to a directory difference due to language. Also, I tried this on an Engligh machine.

Hi George,

thank you for your effort. It takes 7 sec. to build the application ? Nice. Definitely not on my machine.

I masscompiled the folder wich contains the "NI_AALPro.lvlib"  but that didn't change the behaviour of the build process.

The next thing I'll do is to update to 8.6.1.

After that I will have to contact the german NI support. (i already did this - but the only idea they had is to masscompile)

I have no clue why LV needs so much time to handle the lvlib.

Anyway - thank you very much for you help.

(I will reply to this if I solve this problem)

Svente
