Application for measuring strain using a NI USB 6009

Hi, i'm looking for an application that acquires data from strain gages using a Ni usb 6009, if it as temperature compensation, lead resistance, and non linearity compensation it would be nice...

i'm dont understand much of labview so if any one could help me i would apreciate!

i'm using labview 8.5 and daqmx 9

the equipment that i have is strain gages connected to a strain amplifier then going to the Ni usb 6009 and finnaly to the laptop...

so you have aevrything (Hardware0 set up.

Now you have to acquire some sort of data using LV and there are couple of example programs which will help you to get started

Look in to this example

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\examples\DAQmx\Analog In\Measure Voltage.llb\Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk.vi

Also you can browse throguh the available example by launching Labview and then go to tool bar "Help->find examples"

if i want to use the Daq assistent with my hardware configuration, wich data should i choose for acq? voltage or strain? because in mu current configuration i have the strain amplifier (from RS)  and i connect one wire to the chanell 0+ so that the Ni usb 6009 reads the input voltage and then the actually strain gages are connected to the channel 1 of the board.
