Auto Running a VI

Relatively new at Labview, so forgive a dumb question:

We have a VI on the desktop that we want to automatically start
execution of (run) when the VI loads. I can't seem to find a way of doing
this without having the user press RUN when the VI loads. Can we do
that? Thanks. Would appreciate an answer via email, since I don't get to

the newsgroup much.

Hi Jim,
no problem.
1 - Right click on vi icon (upper right on front panel)
2 - Choose " VI Properties..." and left click on it
3 - Choose "Execution" in Category window
4 - Check box "Run When Opened"
Hope it help you
Mike
