Auto save- (New to this!) - please help.

Hello all, I am new to the whole MultiSim thing and am not even sure that I am posting in the correct location. Please bear with me. I was just curious to know if the Auto-backup file in Save-> Preferences means that in the event of accidentally closing out without saving means that I can recover the lost work somewhere? Please help as I spent a looong time placing componenets and wiring in the wee hours of the morning only to accidentally close my lab homework without saving.  

(PS - I had it set to auto-save every 5 mins).

I don't know whether your VI will be there, but check the "My Documents\LabVIEW Data\LVAutoSave" folder.

Hello,

In Multisim 10.1 you can go to Options>>Global Preferences, Save tab. Just enable the Auto-backup and the interval time you want. A recovery file will be created at the interval you specify.
