Auto-wire through shift registers when add new event ?

Shift registers must be wired through event structures in order to
have their values passed out the event when it executes. When many
shift registers exist and several new events are added, it is time
consuming to have to wire all them across especially if the diagram is
wider than the video monitor. Is there any way to have them
automatically wired through when a new event is added ?

Hi,
Create "Case structure" with few cases.
Make one of them with all shift registeres wired through.
When you want to add a new case to your structure, go to the page described above, right click on its border and say "Duplicate case" in drop down menu.
The new case with wired through shift registers will appear.

Don't use "Add case before" or "Add case after".

Good luck.

This is something that I added to the LabVIEW wishlist.

I use the "no-op" case method that Oleg mentions.

But, still there are times when I have to go back and add another shift register.

In the case of the "HUGE" diagram, you can temporaily re-size the structure so that it is very narrow. This will minimize the mouse action. After all of the case have the new wire, sizer it back up.
