Automation Explorer problems

Hi!

I need to make changes to a existing labview 7 program. Some hardware is connected to the computer running the labview application and I need to copy the labview program and hardware configuration to my own computer before making changes. Copy the labview files is the easy part. Copy hardware config. is more tricky. The hardware consist of a PCI-board (PCI-6221) and a connector block (SC-2345). First, I tried to export the configuration from MAX (version 3.1.1) and import it in MAX 4.1 on my laptop, which resulted in MAX crashing. After this I made a fresh install of labview on a second computer in order to get MAX 3.1.1 (I didnt want to 'downgrade' on my other computer), but importing the configuration once again result in MAX crashing. Since this approach seemed impossible, I thought it should be possible set up the configuration from scratch. The problem is I cannot find the PCI board in MAX at all on my laptop. I've installed NI-DAQ and looked for other drivers for this board without success.

What should I do? Where can I find drivers for this PCI board?

Regards
Christopher

I believe that I have experienced the problem that you are seeing. You will have to install traditional Daq on your computer after installing NIMax. For some reason NI stopped adding that to yhe driver disks and makes the operators install it if they need it now.

This is the link to the Traditional Daq download.
