Solved!

I would first like to thank Verne for his call for adult behavior.

and secondly to Eric for helping with a long time bug.

Soooooo,

You are both well connected.

Soooooo

I ask this question.

Is a Mac 64 Bit compatible DAQmxBase Library

under active development or are Mac users going to

get shut out.

Thank you both

Ben

Hey Ben,

Here's what I've been able to find out.  We can't really say for sure when certain products or aspects of products will be released.  The best I could find for you is a knowledge base article titled Mac OS X Lion (10.7) Compatibility with National Instruments Software.  Moving on to the green (max) issue you were discussing.  What you mentioned is currently expected behavior, meaning there is no way direct way to disable the button.  I looked into creating a product suggestion for this, but I noticed a couple of things while looking at this.  The major thing that I noticed is that the same issue occurs with the Windows maximize button.  The only way to disable that button is to go into VI Properties and customize the window appearance by disabling the option that allows users to resize the window.  There have been individuals who have inputed both product suggestions and CARs (Corrective Action Request), and this currently has the opportunity of being looked at, but it is not certain whether it will be changed or not.
