Please has anyone successfully communicate with B+K Precision Programmable Power Supply (Model #1775)?

Hey Aderogba,

I have never seen an instrument driver for this device, but I have attached the user manual. Starting on page 22 it talks about using the GPIB interface to program it. That's about all of the information I have.

Thanks. The problem I'm having is that I can't establish communication with this equipment through MAX or IBIC.

I've just bought the GPIB interface card (CCA,PCI-GPIB/TNT5004). After installing the card, I was able to communicate with the equipment briefly. About a week later when I tried again, I couldn't. I have resinstall the card and software several times with no result. Also, I was able to detect other GPIB equipment with the same card and cable.

Do you know what could cause this to happen?

Hey Aderogba,

It's possible your device made it into an unsafe state. Most of the time you can just cycle the power on the device to bring it back.

I would try sending STATUS? and ERROR? to see what the device will respond back. If you are having trouble sending any command I would double check all of the cables and connections and perhaps change cables.
