BRIO laser

Hey everyone,

I am looking for the LabView driver for the Brio/IR-GR laser. I am gonna use it in Q-switch regim and syhronise the laser with a spectrometer (for which I have LabView driver). Does anyone have the Visa driver for the Laser? Or some similar drivers for others lasers which I could use as an example? I would appreciate any help. I am new in LabView and I cannot write the driver by myself.

Hi Elena,

I have done some searching, but I have unfortunately not found anything. Normally, we recommend to serach for 3rd part drivers here:

But I found nothing from your manufacturer (Quantel). The only reference I could find was limited info of someone who used a Quantel CFR laser with an ICE 450 Power Supply through LabVIEW. It was controlled over RS232 serial with a PXI-8108 PXI Controller. Hence, it seems reasonable that you should at least be able to get some basic functionallity with your Brio/IR-GR laser as well.

I believe that the necessary drivers need to come from the manufacturer, so I would recommend you to contact Quantel.
