BS2 and labview

HI, 
            Currently i attached a Basic Stamp 2 connected with an ultrasonic sensor,  so far i'm able to get readings from the read string.. Its shows DO00081...  when i uses the STAMP EDITOR with the ultrasonic sensor, its also shows readings at 81.. I assume somehoe both data is related ba.. So i was wondering is there any way i able to make use of the data i received in LabView program from the sensor to like at least control a ON/OFF button? Does anyone know what kind of data is DO00081?? any way to convert the string data into other data like integer or what?

You're device programmers manual should tell you how to interpret this data.

Which device are you using, just stating "ultrasonic sensor" is not enough. Not all ultrasonic sensors use the same protocol if they use one at all.
