I use the SC2345 Black Box front end with six ACC001 accelerometer modules. The system was shipped to another user within my company and one of the channels does not show up in my LabVIEW code. I recently purchased two NOS ACC001 modules. The end user said they tried both modules but the channel was still not communicating. I asked if they checked in NIMAX to see if the module was communicating with the PCI6221 DSP board. They said they had not.
Here's my question. If the slot in the SC2345 was already configured for a ACC001 module and I pulll it and replace it with another ACC001 module, do I need to go into NIMAX and reconfigure that slot or is it automatic? Thanks for your input.
My fallback choice is to have the end user move the ACC001 module to the currently unused slot 8 and then we can go into our LabVIEW code and modify the DAQmx Assistant to make that slot the channel we want it to be.
Any comments are more than welcome.
