Balancing an electrical engine

Hello,

I'm trying to make a Vi with Labview 2020 to balance an electrical engine.

I have a impulsion signal for the angular reference position & RPM and an accelerometer for the bearing vibrations.

The signal of the accelerometer (red curve)  is a bit noizy but I can see the right frequency (equals RPM blue curve) with the spectral measurement module :

But then impossible to get the any information about this fundamental frequency. Even the search frequency module gives me false frequency.

the goal is to compare the two phases (angular and vibration) to determine the position of the unbalancing weight.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks.

Have a look at the sound&vibration vis (if you have that addon) .. they have vis (and examples) on how to deal with resolver and measurement data , and can resample the data to 'angular samples' 🙂

Thanks Hendrik for your reply.

I don't have the sound & vibration add-on.

I know this add-on but for just this project it doesn't justify the investment (for the moment).

What I'm searching seems could be done with the existing modules but I don't why they doesn't work...

Bruno.
