Beginner's problem

hello,i'm a undergraduate student in japan and now i'm doing my last year research project about desiging a control system for rotary inverted pendulum. My professor has asked me and my mate to design the programming system using labview,i'd viewed some of the tutorial of labview for beginner..but the problem is,most of the tutorial are using national instrument's DAQ,but in my lab,we don't have it. For your infomation,we used PCI 6204 for pulse counter for rotary encoder, then PCI 2725 for digital input output and PCI 3523A for analog input output. I'm a beginner using this software and i want to know how can I calibrate the data from my hardware to be used in the LabView software. Please help me..I'm really need the infomation about this. thank you

hi jerou,

There is a lot of literature available in internet and www.ni.com itself which clearly describes how to acquire the data, analyse that data and present that data..Firstly you need to know some basic details of programming in labview...the best book i can suggest is "Labview for everyone:graphical programming made easy and fun by kring and travis" is a  kick start or else you can visit the downloads section of ni.com and down the 6-hours tutorial on labview basics(*.ppt) file...When you are somewhat comfortable on labview and then you can think of daq concepts..

Thanks and regards,
