Biomedical Project using Labview

Hello! This is my first time on newsgroups, but you guys have a great
community here.

I'm working on a project to allow a quadriplegic to type messages via two
strain gauges on either side of the jaw. Therefore, there will be two analog
voltage inputs into the DAQ board.

My big question is how to convert this analog input into cursor movement
along a row of letters.

please email any ideas or suggestions.

One thing you can do is to monitor the voltage signal by using one of the DAQ shipping examples (either in Labview or NI-DAQ) and then create a matrix that would correlate the voltage of the two sensors with a letter.

You can create voltage windows that would correspond to a specific letter, and have a front panel interface that would contain all letters, and as you read the voltage the cursor would position itself over the letter correspondent to the voltage read.
