Boolean funtion w/2 dynamic boolean inputs

I am trying to perform an nand operation with 2 dynamic boole inputs.  For some reason labview will only let me do it with one dynamic input, and the other input must be a constant.

Is there any way around this, it seems like it should work.

The NAND function will take any boolean on either input.
