Hi Gubbi,
What is different from PC's 1 & 2 versus PC's 3 & 4?
Is the serial port configuration identical? Are you using similar ports? or add-on serial port cards?
What OS are you using, (although I suspect Windows..)? Are all the PCs the same (similar, ie: tower) or are you using Laptops, etc?

In your code, are you wiring the error cluster throughout? If so, can you probe the wires and determine where the error is first triggered. Then try to capture the values / settings near that code and compare it with the code running on the other PC's.
You are running the same (copied / identical ) version of the code on all machines, right?
Did you check the hardware configuration in the Device Manager within Systems (Windows)? Are they configured the same?
I suspect that it is related to configuration.. something is not setup the same.
Also, can you post the code or a screen capture of the code in the area where the error is generated?
