While looking at the block diagram grid for this thread I came across what appears to be a bug in LV2009SP1.
I went to tools/options, Block diagram, then checked the check box "Show Block Diagram grid" to display the block diagram grid. I hit OK, but the grid did not appear on the block diagram. I went to tools/options again and hit OK without changing anything, then the grid appeared.
The same thing happened while going to uncheck the check box.
Basically, the block diagram does not redraw its appearance the first time you exit the tools/options menu. However, scrolling the window does cause the new parts of the screen to redraw.
