Build exe made with a CompactDAQ but without the CompactDAQ

Good day,

I need to improve an old executable made with 2 CompactDAQ. I have the source code but no longer the CompactDAQ. When I open the project I found 2 yellow road signs instead of the CompactDAQ and the build does not continue. The PC on which I try the build is a virtual machine made for this purpose (we no longer have the old PC on which the old exe was built), maybe I am missing some drivers? Can I build without CompactDAQ?
