Build library for installer

Hi everyone,

sorry to bother with a basic question.

Require to make a building for a setup.

Got stuck with the implementation of few libraries

NI Runtime 2017, NI VISA and NI 488.2. 

Been searching like crazy but can't manage to get them inside the setup. Any advice would be appreciated.

Under the installer properties, go to "Additional Installers" and let it select the necessary additions for you.

Thanks, the auto select is indeed activated but even while I have a complete setup, when building I got an error telling me these complements are missing from my installation

Can you post some screenshots of what you are doing and seeing? Is it an error or just a prompt for you to locate the install media on your computer?

It was prompting a window to locate the file for these specific parts.

Got another error now that got me stuck on a more basic level, can't post a screenshot right now

You need the install media to locate the different parts then. Usually the software comes on a USB stick, which I promptly copy and paste to a network drive so I don't have to think about the stick. Either way, locate the folder. When it asks you if you'd like to store a copy on your local drive, click "yes" so you don't have to find it again next time.
