Build palette for FPGA driver

Hi!

Currently developing a custom cRIO module, I'd like to add my FPGA driver code into FPGA's palette.

  1. How to do this without the palette/subpalette containing the VIs being target dedicated ?
  2. Where is it better to store all FPGA driver's VIs in the National Instruments folders tree ?

Hi,

To my knowledge it doesn't exist a tool to add palette to all target.

There is no better folder to store your driver VI, I create a folder on the LabVIEW 8.6 folder call Driver Custom Module. This lets me easily find my drivers.

Thanks Yann for this post.

A custom module is not limitated to one target and the driver should be available on any client target  !!

It means that FPGA driver users have to manually add the driver in the project... Are we going back to LV 2.0 ??

None of the palette subfolders are common to all targets ??
