CANUSB with LabVIEW -- Anyone out there using this?

I've got a need to use these canned VIs that Lawicel (or EasySync) put together.  I need to be able to take advantage of the virtual connections offered by the CANUSB driver.  It seems I'm able to open the virtual connections (essentially a second connection through the same physical interface -- similar to the way you can open multiple NI-CAN handles or channels simultaneously).  And when I write a message out to the bus, it seems that the virtual connections also read that message.  But it appears that I get no response from the device I'm attempting to communicate with.  This only happens when I have the multiple connections open.  If I have only one connection (the first connection is not referred to as "virtual", subsequent are referred to as "virtual"), this is not a problem.

Anyone out there using this who could shed some light?  Thanks ahead of time.

Hey Jim,

This is really information the manufacturer should be able to shed some more light on.  The functions of that USB device are provided by the driver's .dll file, this is aparent by seeing the provided LabVIEW files simply calling that dll.  They would have better insight as to why only communication works without virtualized channels.  But give it some time here and maybe some community members can help out.
