The default pattern has 12 terminals. You do know how to change the terminal pattern right?

If you have LabVIEW why don't you try to find the answers? For this question just open a blank vi and place a cluster box on the front panel. Add a string control, a numeric control and a boolean control into the cluster box. Right click the border of the cluster and choose reorder controls in cluster.
Why is simple. The guy who started this thread doesn't really care about knowing or understanding LV, he just wants it to look like he knows LV by getting a piece of paper. Look at the questions he's asking. For most of them, if he doesn't know the answers or know where to find the answer without asking for help, he doesn't deserve a certification.

Are you sure about that?

That agrees with Parthabe's statement. It was a continuation of his previous message as to why B was not true, NOR why C is true. The order is NOT based on position in the shell.

However, if you configure the cluster with "AutoSizing...arrange vertically (or horizontally)", their position in the shell is always sorted based on the cluster order.
Under these condition, you can tell the order uniquely from the position in the cluster container.
Of course the statement "their position in the shell is based on their order" is not quite the same as "their order is based on their position in the shell". 😄
