COM PORT appearance

Hello all,

My VISA is reading COM1 as Com1. For testing only I connected one string control directly to VISA indicator and passed the value Com1(by mistake). Since then in the dropdown list it is showing COM1 but if I select it then it is showing Com1.

Suddenly what happened I dont know. I have attached one image for better description.

Thanks

Perhaps your visaconf.ini changed?

Check the VISA Alias

MAX Menu Tools>>NI VISA>>VISA Options  will open a rather useful tool in MAX

General>>Aliases in the tool will allow you to inspect, Clear rename or delete Aliases

Maybe refresh your driver , In case of any DAQ try to calibrate it and then do it

Let me check with this, Is there any other option to change it? What I mean to say is it happend through software i.e. in the VI only. Can I revert it back to normal with COM1 through VI only ?

Thanks
