CRIO will not detecting module and will not allow formating

We have the CRIO plugged in correctly and the lights light up showing that the it is getting power but the CRIO is not detecting the module and will not allow us to format the CRIO. We have also checked to make sure to check that the CRIO is clean. Please help us find a solution.
