Dear All
In accordance with the below table the CRio9082 is able to run Linux RHEL8 19.1 to 19.6
I´m a bit confussed,how I should proceed
In the right side, there are links to download Bios, drivers and firmware for Windows, PharLap and Linux
Actually the RT installed is PharLap, should I download the Linux drivers and firmware?
The windows option I guess is for install Windows7 Embedded?
And should I use MAX to install Linux?
Thanks

Hi, sorry I did a mikstake, the files of the table of my last message is for CRio Drivers to be installed in Windows pc or Linux pc. But it indicates that the CRio9082 can support Linux
I have two questions:
A) question is about the below picture
The same is for Windows and for PharLap.
This is a BIOS update, I understand that depending of the system running in the CRio9082, Windows, Linux or PharLap, you can upddate the BIOS. Is that correct?
B) I have seen that the CRio9082 supports minimum, Labview 2019 as indicated below
If initially, the CRio9082 has PharLap installed, how I can install LinuxRT?, just with MAX, formatting and put the Crio in safe mode as usual?
Which version of Labview, FPGA, Labview RT should I install if the LinuxRT supported is 19.1 to 19.6?
Should I install NI Linux RT System Image in the development PC?, and which version?
Sorry, too many questions, but I´m confused with the versions
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Hi
According to this overview, you cannot upgrade cRIO-9082 to current NI Linux Real-Time :
* These Models also have a Windows Operating System Variant available. Confirm the OS with your Account Manager before purchasing.

Hi thanks for your response
This is why I´m confused, below there is a compatibility table
And the Phar Lap RT OS EOL Road Map says something about PharLap to Linux migration in Q2 2021

Yep, definetely
I have collected some info and I guess the following is the procedure to follow
Could you please tell me if I wrong with the following procedure?
Install in Win10:
NI CompactRIO drivers 19.6
NI Linux RT System Image 2019.12, which should corresponds with Ni Linux RT 19.6
Labview 2019 32 bits
Labview 2019 RT
Labview 2019 Fpga
From NI MAX create a Linux RT usb recovery drive
Power on the CRio9082, go to BIOS to boot from usb and format and install the Linux RT
Connect the CRio9082 to the network and install software with NI MAX
Thanks for your support

Hi
Sorry, I have no first hand hacking experience with this controller, so you are on your own.
Best of Luck
