Call Simulink dll without using real time target

Hello Everyone,

I would like to know if anyone has converted a simulink model into a dll using the SIT(simulation interface toolkit)

and then called the .dll from a LabView vi WITHOUT running the dll on a real-time target i.e. just your PC. ?

I'm not concerned about real-time operation on a hardware, all I want to do is to call a .dll built from simulink and

have it be controlled by a Labview front panel. Unfortuneately, there is few example available shipped with LabVIEW, so

could someone give me some tips or examples for this topic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have a wonderful day.

Hi, it's easy for us to import simulink model into LabVIEW with SIT, just for simulation, but not running with hardware. Also, you can refer to example, such as 'batch simulation.vi' to implement this on PC after installing SIT, just for simulation!! So, I don't konw the reason why you plan to call dll in LabVIEW, but not make use of SIT directly? NI Application Engineer Ben
