Camera resolution limited to 352x288 in MAX

Hello,

I'm using an USB Camera with Directshow in Measurement & Automation Explorer.

The camera is able to acquire with a resolution of 2592x1944, but in MAX in (Acquisition Attributes tab), the max. resolution available is 352x288.

I've succeeded to acquire images with a resolution of 2592x1944 with the software provided by the manufacturer.

So how can I set the resolution to 2592x1944 in MAX ?

Thanks in advance,

Maugan.

Can you share the screenshot of MAX or your LabVIEW code (if you have any) here, to understand the issue.

I have set up the manfacturer's directshow driver which gives me the window of the first screenshot, with a resolution of 2592x1944.

Then I want to configure the acquisition attributes in NI MAX, and I get the two other screens, with a max. resolution of 352x288.

Hello,

I've tried to use IMAQdx in LabVIEW, with the "Grab and Attributes Setup" VI, but it doesn't change anything : I can't set the width/height of the camera et the video mode proposed are the same that in MAX (cf attachments).

Any other solution ?

I think it could be the configuration of the directshow driver, but I can't find any way to modify it.

One more link I found (but I think you might have seen it already):

Yes, I've already seen it, but it doesn't help me more.

Other idea ?

According to the camera's manufacturer, it could be their directshow driver which does not support a better resolution, but they doubt a little.

Maybe other ideas ?

Is there anybody who has succeeded to acquire an image, with a USB Camera, with a resolution over 352x288 ?

Because it could be a problem from ni softs.
