Can FP VI's be used with the Field Point Explorer 5

I use Labview 6.1 and with Field Point Explorer 3.0.2 I am able to run vi's that was built with vi's such as FP Open.VI and FP Creat Tag .Vi .

Now I have installed Field Point Explorer 5 and I'm unable to get any values from these vi's.

I have installed Field Point Explorer 5 because I couldnt get my cFP-180x configured using Field Point Explorer 3.0.2. The Field Point Explorer 5 came with the cFP-180x device.

Please could some one help me?

Hello Kaushala ,

FieldPoint 5.0 does not contain support for LabVIEW 6.1. You will need to install FieldPoint 4.1 if you are using LabVIEW 6.1.  You will have to either revert back to FieldPoint 4.1 or upgrade your LabVIEW to 7 or 8.

I think you're stuck.

As you saw, the cFP-180x will only work with the FP 5 driver, which will not work in LV 6.1.
That means you either need to get a different FP or to upgrade your version of LV.
