Can I call any bmp or jpg or any other picture file as a control or indicator

    Can I call any picture file like .bmp or .jpg or any other file as control or indicator to use the see the data flow  without going in Advanced>> Customize, for example any bottle filling project , i want use the bottle picture to show the bottle filling process or any meter to show the display for example  home electric meter .

clearly: NO.

 

You want Labview import a picture and then say: Use this picture as an control/indicator? How should that go? How should LabView know where to "fill the bottle" (to keep your example)?

 

Apart from Advanced->Customize you can use picture indicators to import and show graphics. You can also use picture rings to show different states of a graphical display. But there is no automatic mechanism...

Not that i have tried this in LV, but e.g. .png supports transparent colors. You should be able to paint a .png on your front panel and have a meter filling behind it, which would look like the bottle is filling (ofc assuming you make the interior of the bottle the transparent color)
