Can I create my own indicator?

I like to use a product image as an indicator which is turning around its center, the angle is set via a terminal.

Easiest would be to make a series of incrementally rotated images using a image editing program and placed them sorted by angle into a picture ring indicator. I have attached a simple example that does 90 deg increments (LabVIEW 7.0) using 4 frames.

If you don't requre the need to set the angle programmatically, but have it spinning continuously, simply place an animated gif on the front panel. (Make sure that the FP option "Play animated Images" is checked. The attached example also contains an animated image for demonstration.)

Thanks for this answer,

Does this solution take much processor power?

What I realy need is a picture that can show rotations in two directions (pitch and yaw) like an airplane.
That takes a lot of images if you have some resolution and two inputs combined to show the disired image....

I tried to replace the indicator of a dial with an image, but the picture does not rotate from the center but rotates around the center (see example)

Can I change this behavior?

Thanks, John
