Can I install MAX5.5 onto a sytem running Labview 8.2?

I have a system running Labview 8.2 & code developed with 8.2 running on the computer.  Is there any compatibility issues with installing the MAX5.5 onto the same computer?

Thanks!

If you are running LabVIEW 8.2 you need NI-DAQ 8.3 to 9.1.1,as shown here. Since, MAX is designed to be installed with other NI software at the same time, you should not install a version that it is not designed to be installed with the version of NI-DAQ.

MAX 5.5 should work just fine, but depending on what version of NI-DAQmx you have installed you may or may no see the new right-hand views.  Regardless, MAX is backwards compatible and should work with older versions of LabVIEW and their drivers.

The only thing that has been removed in MAX 5.5 is support for the old FP-160x targets and the really old PCI-704x RT boards.

Here is a link to the NI System Configuration 5.5 distribution that includes MAX 5.5.
