Can I make an intensity plot's backgounrd color transparent?

It is possible to change the background color of an intensity plot to transparent?  I want to overlay the plot on an image to show the location of the hotspot on the plot.  Ive tried to chance it to transparent and also the property node, neither seem to work.   Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks.

However as soon as there is a plot on the graph it turns back to black for the bg color.  I need to have it transparent when it is plotting and statically showing a plot.
Any more thoughts?

Hello,

I never used the intensity graph. But I've made a simple example to see what you saying.

I've writted a comment on the front panel and then an intensity graph on the top of it with the transparent color. In fact, when I run it... Becomes black. But i can see the letters.

See the vi.
