Hello,
Hello,
Hello,
I'm a student master electromechanical and I'm using labview for my master's thesis to control some EC motors.
My question is that I can make screen shots from my program to put into my thesis?
It would be published on the website from my school.

Try this. It will create html files of all vi's in a folder.
You have to create the output folders first though. The program wont create them for you.
If I werent a lazy slob I'd fix that.

Thanks for the answer but my question is: May I use the print screens for my thesis that would be published on the web?

You're asking if they could be copyrighted by someone? If not then I dont get what you're asking.

If your Thesis is "Creating a Graphical Based Programming Language" and you post screenshots of LabVIEW you will probably have some high-priced lawyers knocking on your door. If you are doing work with LV and post screenshots of your data then NI should have no issue, and simply be pleased with the free publicity.
When I wrote my undergrad thesis (LV2) and PhD thesis (LV3) I would reference NI. These days it is common enough that it is usually not necessary (not a bad idea though). When we see drab grey backgrounds and the ubiquitous 3D smoothboxes, we go "Yup, that is LV". (Not necessarily meant as a compliment).

Hello Greet,
As long as you mention that it was made with LabVIEW, it won't be a problem when you use print screens of your code in your thesis.
Keep in mind that this is only the case when there are no commercial purpose involved.
