Can I safely run LabView 6.1 VIs on LabView 7.1?

Just curious to know if anyone out there knows whether or not I can safely run LabView 6.1 VIs on LabView 7.1? That's all I want to know. Thanks.

If the 6.1 vi's are opened with version 7.1, they should convert to 7.1, and ran safely. do that all the time

If you ever think you will need to open them again in 6.1, make backups. Saving backword is a little difficult with LabVIEW.

Going forward is a breeze.

Going backwards.... well.. until they improve time travel.. 😉

Especially if you plan to go back to 6.1 from 7.1...
