Can I use the Parallel Port from extra Digital Output Pins?

I need to control 2 more things and I'm out of Digital I/O pins :(.  (hate doing mods to other peoples implimentations)...

Can I use the parallel port for some extra Digital Output pins?  Does anyone know of a guide?

Should have spelled "Parallel" right in my search query on the web site first.
