Can I use third party DAQ boards with Labview real time?

I have an Adlink DAQ 2010 card that I curently use with labview. Will this card also work with Labview real time? What requironments are there for 3rd party cards to work with Labview real time?

Thanks!

Hi Feroelper,

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your DAQ device.

Even though it seems to be very old: Adlink still provides software for that DAQ device and offers LabVIEW driver packages!

Use them (along with their manuals)…

You attached your question to a thread about LabVIEW Realtime. If this was just a mistake and you mean really LabVIEW for Windows just follow Gerd’s advice. If you really mean LabVIEW Realtime you still would have to contact the hardware manufacturer, but chances are small that they even understand what you are asking. Most likely they would just point you to their Windows Or Linux driver download and assure you that’s what you should try, which is of course wrong. The reality is that you most likely couldn’t use that DAQ board on a LabVIEW Realtime system.
