Can Labview 7.0 be used with Microsoft .net 2.0 references?

I'm using Labview 7.0. I would like to know if I can use references (dlls) that were built on Microsoft Framework 2.0

Look at that post, but be sure to look deeper (follow the link to Brian's blog and read the comments). You should also go over everything Brian posted that if you are planning on using .NET with LV a lot. Be aware of the fact that 7.0 was the first version which supported .NET and might have some bugs\missing features.

Short answer: Yes, LV 7.0 does work with .NET 2.0 and I use it regularly.

The second link there did point to the patch, but that patch is only for 7.1.
7.0 works fine with .NET 2.0 without any patches.

Thanks MooooView. I didn't read your first reply carefully. I'll test it today and post the response.

Thanks

Another question then? Does Microsoft. net 2.0 work with Labview 7.1?

Thanks,

Probably not, but 7.1.1 is a free patch to 7.1, so you can just install that. I suggest you just read Brian's blog for all the details.

Oh, and MoooooVIEW is just the signature. It was simply a joke because of the avatar used.
