Can Labview be installed on a portable harddrive

I would like to be able to take my work home with me and would like to know if I can install my labview development software on my portable hard drive so that I can plug in (USB) and work where ever I want.

Considering LabVIEW has to be activated, probably not... you would need to have a licensed version for home and work.  Call up NI, explain your licensing situation.  They may tolerate an installed version at home like other companies do.  I know Mathsoft does for MathCAD for instance.  They require you to get special license files that they call "home seats."

Thanks this was the solution. Apparently my license allows me to install the software on up to 3 computers at once, but only one can be used at one time. This is what I need. Thanks for the input.
