Can front panel controls be made active/inactive?

I am trying to make a VI that I've written capable of performing two similar, but slightly different, functions.  I'd like to have a toggle (or similar) on the front panel to switch between, e.g. I-V measurement and Photocurrent measurement.  Based on which is selected by the user, it would be ideal to have the appropriate front panel controls be either active or inactive so that the program is more user-friendly for someone who does not have a lot of experience.  If this is possible, can someone please direct me down the correct path?  Thanks.

You can use property nodes.  Right click on the control then select Create then select Property Node.

You can also use a tab control. One tab for the I-V Measurement and another for Photocurrent. If some of the setup or file selection is common to both types of measurements, that could be placed on a third tab page.

This seems like a job for a CASE structure.

Here's a slight modification.  In this case, only one set of controls exist....no need to disable the unused ones.
