Can not communicate with INstrument through RS485

I just follwed your advise, run the VI, which was download from the Ni website,"NI RS Transceiver", it gave the information"VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF006B) A framing error occurred during transfer.", I set my intrument with Modbus procotol. By thw way, I can open the NI SPY? Appreciate your help!

Hi,

To what posting (the advise) are you refering to?. I don't know to what VI you are refering to ("NI RS Transceiver").

In any case, framing errors are caused by incorrect (mismatched) serial port setting between the two devices. This error is detected by the serial hardware, when the frames received do not match the expected frame format.
