My OS is SUSE enterprise desktop 10.0, the LabVIEW version is 8.0. When installing the version, a message appears as follows:

* NI-KAL 1.1.0f0 for Linux/x86
********************************
******************************** ERROR ****************************************
* Kernel source in /lib/modules/2.6.16.60-0.21-smp/source does not appear to be
* configured for the 2.6.16.60-0.21-smp kernel.
* Configuration of kernel source is required to continue installation. *
* Refer to the README file for the product you are installing for information *
* about configuring your kernel source. *
******************************** ERROR ****************************************
Installer is aborted.
Please advise how to resolve the problem. Thanks.

It seems that LV80 is not supported on SuSE10.0.

Hi David,
Thanks for the post and I hope your well.
Pine has found a good link for you.
It actually says that SUSE 10.0 and LabVIEW 8.0 = √- The software/driver package is not certified to work with this distribution, but may work with an appropriate version of NI-KAL installed or other workarounds. Extensive user testing is recommended before deploying a system using this configuration.
Appropriate version for SUSE 10.0 is NI-KAL 1.4.
You may download various versions of NI-KAL from the NI Drivers and Updates page.NI-KAL Drivers and Updates.
Hope this is a little more detailed,
