Hello,
I am having a majorly frustrating experience right now that I am having difficulty resolving. I have had some recent issues with a particular installation of LV, had to remove that installation, and then ran the SP1 distribution for LV 2010. I have since been unable to see the software that is on the RT target - I can see the hardware and communicate with it just fine. When I open the device in MAX, I get a "Software" tab that is not expandable:
And if I attempt to add software, I get the following screen indicating that there is nothing on the target (although there is):
This wouldn't be such a problem but for whatever reason the serial.dll can not be found on the target and therefore I can not communicate with serial devices through my RT machine. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Peace, Matt

Hmmmmm....this was unfortunately corrected by formatting the drive and reinstalling the software. Something must have gotten hosed up when I was futzing around with LV versions.

Looks like we both learned the same lesson...never ever install a LV beta on a working development machine. I also had to wipe all NI software off of the machine and reinstall everything to
get back to where I was. BTW, I now have Oracle Virtual Box installed on my PC and will try doing my next beta testing in a protected sandbox.

Whoa! That is no good! Sorry to hear that sachsm. I think I was a little more fortunate as I just had to wipe my RT box; although I did have to get rid of the beta (shhhhh! rule #1 - don't talk about beta 😉 ) and install SP1 (which I didn't have on my computer). Sigh...oh well - what's a day or two wasted...
