Can't Configure LV7 SCC for SourceSafe

I downloaded the update per KnowledgeBase Document ID: 2XPDQLLG. I still get the same message "Microsoft Visual SourceSafe does not appear to be installed on your machine. This software must be properly installed for the source code control tools to operate." SourceSafe is not installed on the local machine, but run from a network server. Is there no way to configure it for this setup?

You'll need to install the bare minimum of source safe on the local machine so that it will LabVIEW will have the source safe client executables and configuration (registery) files it needs to use source safe.
