Can't Install VISA

HI,

I tried to install NI-VISA driver15.5 on LabView15.0.1. But after restarting I get the blue screen of death saying Dirver power state failure.

I could solve the problem only by restoring my computer. I tried twice.
My operating system is windows 10 64bit.

What kind of security software are you running?

Have you tried updating your drivers lately? What are your power settings on your network cards?

Hi altenbach,
None (windows defender obviously). Uninstalled bitdefender recently because it was slowing down my system.

What flavor of LabVIEW? 32 or 64 bit?

I'm not up-to-date on the intricacies of LabVIEW 64-bit, but I know that there are issues with it, particularly (I recall) with drivers.  If you are not doing something that requires the enormous 64-bit address space, you might consider 64-bit Windows and 32-bit LabVIEW (which, I believe, is the configuration for the vast majority of PC installations).
