Can't click buttons or menu items in LabView 2009 SP1

Hi all,

I just installed NI LabView 2009 SP1, and I'm having trouble editing a project I inherited from another engineer.  When I open the project and try to click anything on the menu/toolbars, the menu pops up and then disappears immediately.  When I open the vi file, the same thing happens, except I can see that there's a Control window that's popping up and disappearing as well.  How do I stop this?  It's basically unusable.  I'm running Windows XP.

Thanks

Todd:

I think I saw this issue once before. Do you have Nvidida's nView desktop manager running? It should manifest itself as having some extra buttons up near the minimize/maximize/close buttons on the window title bar. There should also be an icon for it in the system tray.

For some reason, the context menus in LabVIEW don't seem to get along with the nView desktop manager on some computers. If you close the nView manager, the behavior might go away.

Thanks for having a good memory, that was definitely the problem.  I'll just disable it when I use LabView.
