Hi
I got a problem with the "Find function" in LV2012.
The Find function can't find the text "IniFile: WriteKeys" in the string constant in the innercase.
Why is that?
I have tried to plase a copy of the constant(se next picture) and then it can only find the one marked with yellow!

Hi Bjarke
This sounds very strange. Are you sure that the strings are exactly the same no extra space i.e.?
Could you try to copy one of the working strings inside of the inner case where the find and replace function does not work and see if that solves the problem?
If not feel free to post the VI and I will try to dig into it.
I just tried to create a similar test on my PC with 10 nested case structures and the find function could still find the inner one on my LabVIEW 2012 installation

Hi Anders.
Thank you![]()
I have tried the things you suggested and my strings are exactly the same and it didn't work to put the outside-string(that could be found) inside the case.
Here is the VI but be aware the broken arrow, because the sub VIs is not incorporated
By the way, my name is Bjarne, not Bjarke![]()

Hej Bjarne,
Sorry for the wrong name 😉
Just wanted to let you know that I can replicate your problem on my machine, both in LV2011 and LV2012.
I haven't figured out why we are seeing this behavior, but I will try to dig a bit more into it and get back to you when I know more.

Hej Bjarne
I can't find a good explanation of why you are seeing this behavior. I have sent a report to our R&D department and they will look into why this is happening and hopefully provide a solution in one of the coming versions of LabVIEW.
Happy New Year.
