Can we trigger a signal on a AI with the NI 9215 module ?

Hi everybody !

I got a little problem right now !

I need to gather a signal from a tektronix tds 2004 oscilloscope with the NI9215 (chassis: NI cDAQ-9172) and I would like to trigger this signal with one of the four analogic input . I don't think this is possible but if someone egot a trick 😉

You can provide a software trigger with the Tektronix driver. Would that be sufficient or do you need hardwire timing?

Since you don't have any outputs from the 9215, I don't know that you'll be able to trigger the oscilloscope using anything other than a command from the PC making the measurement.
