So I have a ethernet device which is a PSU from Delta electronics. I created a new device in NI Max using Manual Entry of Raw Socket with IP address and Port Number and I tried to validate using NI max and it works. Then I did the LabVIEW program using VISA open, write, read and close. But VISA read is giving me error. Then instead of using the VISA device I created in NI Max, I directly used the TCP VIs i.e open, write, read and close and here the program works. Anyone know why this is happening, with VISA not working but with TCP it works. Kindly let me know. Thank you.
