Cannot disable local menu, wich has submenus

Hi!

My VI has a local menu, defined in a .rtm file. I would like to disable some menus, using the "Current VI's menubar" and the "Set menu item info" blocks, that works fine, if the menu item is simple. But if it has a submenu, it does not work, the menuitem stays enabled. If I try this with the "checked" paameter, it works with submenu-owner items, too.

What am i missing?
